Dr. Corey Shumate

DNP, PMHNP-BC, RN

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Shumate earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, followed by his BSN from Lakeview College of Nursing. After six years as a registered nurse and nursing supervisor on psychiatric units, he earned his Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. He specializes in depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, sleep disorders, and ADHD.

Mrs. Frensha Spears

Licensed Social Worker

As a Licensed Social Worker, Mrs. Frensha Spears is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. She provides compassionate, nonjudgmental support — connecting clients with resources including healthcare, housing, and financial assistance. Her areas of focus include mental health support, crisis intervention, and child and family services. She believes in treating every individual with dignity, respect, and empathy.

Mr. Fasognon

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNPBC

Dr. Ola is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. He tailors each treatment plan to the individual’s unique needs, following the latest clinical guidelines. Known for being reliable, attentive, and empathetic, Dr. Ola takes the time to truly understand each patient.
